We design the curriculum to address the specific needs and circumstances of the individuals participating at each company. This involves assessing the situation, identifying available food sources, evaluating the ability to prepare meals, exploring eating and sleeping schedules, and increasing general food awareness.
Our team of nutrition specialists, professional chefs, garden experts, and guest health instructors use activities and introduce topics such as establishing sustainable choices, which includes supporting and creating local gardens, getting involved with food programs, and promoting the use of locally-sourced and seasonal produce to support local farmers. Healthy meal planning is another key topic, focusing on identifying nutritional values, easy preparation, and guidelines for balanced meals that include a variety of nutrients to support overall health.
